Descrizione
Partendo dalla baia di Platis Gialos, sulla costa meridionale di Sifnos, la sua gita in barca si dirige verso sud-ovest intorno al promontorio di Kontou e arriva a Fykiada, dove potrà fare il bagno. A sinistra, si può vedere la piccola chiesa di Agios Georgios. Lasciando Fykiada, torniamo indietro passando per Platis Gialos e raggiungiamo la baia di Apokofto e Chryssopigi, dove potrà visitare il monastero più famoso di Sifnos. Panagia Chryssopigi è la protettrice dell'isola e sede del famoso festival di Sifnos (panigyri) 40 giorni dopo Pasqua.
Dopo Chryssopigi, proseguiamo verso est e visitiamo le baie di Faros e le tre spiagge di Fassolou, Faros e Glyfo. Vedremo le antiche miniere e potremo nuotare in ognuna di queste spiagge. Poi ci dirigiamo subito a Kastro (il castello), la prima capitale di Sifnos, abitata per la prima volta in epoca preistorica. Kastro è costruito su una roccia e la costruzione assomiglia a quella di una fortezza, da cui il nome. Lasciata Kastro e la spiaggia Seralia, ci dirigiamo verso nord e raggiungiamo la baia di Dialiskari, con il monastero di Poulati proprio sopra di essa. Possiamo nuotare nelle acque cristalline e visitare il monastero prima di tornare indietro.
