Descrizione

Partendo dal molo di Platis Gialos, nel sud di Sifnos, ci dirigiamo a sud-ovest attraverso lo stretto di Kitriani e proseguiamo per circa 8 miglia nautiche fino a raggiungere l'isola disabitata di Poliegos.

Entrando nella baia di Faros, ammiriamo il famoso e molto fotografato faro di Poliegos, costruito nel 1898 a circa 130 metri sul livello del mare. Possiamo nuotare nella baia e goderci le acque turchesi, con grandi pietre bianche sul fondale e rocce e ciottoli splendidamente colorati intorno, oltre a un piccolo lago che attira le capre selvatiche. Poi ci dirigiamo verso l'estremità meridionale di Poliegos ed entriamo nella baia di Kalogeroi, fermandoci a nuotare nelle sue acque incredibili.

Dopo circa due miglia nautiche, ci dirigiamo verso nord-ovest e arriviamo alla spiaggia di Mirsini, dove è possibile nuotare di nuovo. Qui l'acqua è cristallina e sempre calma e può rilassarsi con una vista sull'isola di Kimolos.

Poi navighiamo verso nord-ovest, in direzione del porto di Kimolos, conosciuto come Psathi o Psatha. Si consiglia di fermarsi lì per prendere un caffè o pranzare. Ripartiamo poi dal porto di Kimolos e ci dirigiamo a nord-est verso spiagge come Goupa Kara, Agios Minas e Prassa, considerate le più belle di Kimolos.
