Description

Pick up at 11:00 at the starting point of your choice (hotel, port e.t.c.) and immediate departure for Dio Choria village where we stay for 30′ to enjoy a coffee with view to the Aegean Sea .
Next, we are visiting Volax village,which is situated in the heart of Tinos and it is built in a beautiful lunar landscape. Many of its inhabitants weave baskets. (20′ stop)
Our next stop is the picturesque village of Pyrgos, birthplace of famous artists, painters and sculptors. Here you can visit the house where the world known sculptor Giannoulis Halepas lived but also the Museum of Tinian Artists. For those who do not wish to visit the museums we recommend a drink at one of the cafes at the beautiful square of the village under the plane tree. (1 hour stop)
After leaving Pyrgos we reach the nearby settlement of Panormos where you can enjoy the beach and greek dishes at one of the taverns. ( Stop for 1 hour and 50′. )
Our following stop is the Museum of Marble crafts, a modern and very interesting museum which you may optionally visit. (Stop for 30′. )
Returning to Tinos Town we are passing the village of Tarampados where we have the ability to admire the dovecotes that are built in this area.
We return and disembark at Tinos port at 17:30.
Route followed: Dio Choria - Volax – Loutra – Krokos – Perastra – Komi – Kato Klisma – Kalloni – Ag. Marina – Kardiani – Isternia -Pyrgos – Panormos – Tarampados – Kampos – Tripotamos – Tinos Town.
